BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

In 2014, I retired from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control after twenty-six years of service and opened my consulting firm. Below is an outline of my assignments during my tenure with the Department of ABC:

2014 – Present:

  • Established ABC One Liquor Consultants to assist clients with understanding ABC departmental procedures and rules for obtaining and maintaining California alcoholic beverage licenses

2007 – 2014:

  • Supervising Agent in Charge, San Gabriel Valley District Office

  • Oversaw all aspects of running the ABC District Office

  • Oversaw a team of 23 employees, including Licensing Representatives, Agents, subordinate supervisors, and clerical staff

1998-2007:

  • Promoted to Special Agent in Charge, San Gabriel District Office

1988 – 1998:

  • Worked in every position available as a sworn Peace Officer in Alhambra, San Gabriel, Monterey Park, Arcadia, and the remainder of eastern Los Angeles County
